Refurbished unit buggy after 50 days.

I cheaped out and bought this refurbished unit for $50 instead of a new one from my ISP for $120.

Item worked OK upon initial set-up, but has since become buggy.

Wi-Fi will drop out during use. It recovers in 1-2 minutes, but has become a big headache for online games. Unplugging it may remedy it for a day or two, but the issue returns.

the modem had sat unused a long time and it took a lot of firmware updates by a professional installer. it took an hour to get it working with the cable system. i think i saved good amount of money over a new one or leasing from cable company. To this point it works perfect.Read full review
