Over engineered

I rebuild small portable evap coolers.
Mostly hessaire.

Bought half a dozen of these.

Grossly complex, over engineered and prone to breakdown. Avoid.

Difficult to disassemble, even harder to put back with interlocking close tolerance plastic tabs.

Plus is is an energy hog at 235w on low cool.

On top of everything else it is a lousy cooler. Needs twice the pad surface area it has, pump is weak and tends to drool.

Bought this for use in the garage on those hot summer days here in the desert. A friend of mine had a similar one &
