Fun Nostalgia
Hook is my favorite film of all time. I remember playing this game over and over with my dad. Of course, the only time he beat hook was while I was at school. I've purchased this game twice for sega and for my SNES. There's no difference between the different console versions. There's no saving which is a bummer and the levels hardly follow the film but the game play is fun, the music is good and you can fly (which, admittedly sold me the most when I was younger). The game is a simple side scroller. It's one player. The graphics are good for the time, the music is fun and all your favorite characters are in it. Honestly, I'm probably a bit biased. If you are questioning this purchase go find a video play through of it and see for yourself. I'd compare it to the Lion King or Aladdin for sega.
If you're a fan of the movie and you're looking for a bit of fun nostalgia this is the game for you. If you are looking for a compelling unique new retro gem... probably not my first suggestion.Read full review...

I blieve this is one of the funnest games for the Sega. The adventure is great! If you like the movie or not, you will like the game!
