Just WOW...

I had two problems. Button not operating on my Tascam 2488 and the direction setting switch for my studio microphone which was not operating.
I read some reports on Google that this spray would fix the Tascam buttons. I couldn't operate the machine as it was so I took a gamble.
The spray isn't cheap. But when I sprayed it into the defective buttons using the tube and operated the buttons vigorously the buttons began working. The next day and all the buttons are working perfectly saving me having to replace my much loved tascam.
I then tried it on the broken microphone switch using the same technique and to my amazement the mike is now working perfectly.
I would whole heartedly recommend this product. It's saved me a fortune!

Definitely worth buying

Someone recommended this to me to fix an intermittent signal failure in the RC car, which it did. However, I was impressed by this contact cleaner for a different reason. I had a relatively new Roberts radio which stopped working a few months ago. I had it checked and was told its not repairable because of the way they are put together nowadays. It would have to be thrown away so I just sprayed it inside with DeoxIT (because why not). There was no immediate effect and I just left it for a few days. To my big surprise the radio 'fixed itself' and has been working fine since.
The only thing I would advise is to try a quick dry version of DeoxIT. Mine is a regular formula and takes some time to evaporate.

Wow. This stuff is magic. Sorted my amp problem

So I have a gorgeous Cambridge Audio 840a amplifier that had a volume control playing up. Whatever way you turned it, the volume increased. No way to turn volume down. Led to some scary loud situations- it's a powerful amp! After a lot of internet research, I ordered some of this spray. Not cheap at £23 and I was sceptical. But it worked a dream, first time. I'm amazed and grateful. What a great product! My amp is now back in service, the volume knob ramps up and ramps down as normal. I don't need a new and expensive amp!! RecommendedRead full review...

Excellent product!

I used this on my 1978 music centre that I have restored. Every single knob, switch and slider didn't work properly, one squirt of this on each of the problem areas cured all of the contact issues. I highly recommend this product if like me you like restoring vintage hifi. It gets the job done quickly and the straw lets you get into awkward problem areas precisely without making a mess.Read full review...

Pricey but does the job.

This product is VERY expensive and the new design of dispenser tube is nowhere near as easy to use as the old one. Having said that, it does it's job of improving the conductivity of electrical contacts very well and so I would recommend it.Read full review...

The best

I’ve used this product on 4 classic motorbike restorations. Whilst it is undoubtedly expensive, you get what you pay for and a tin of this lasts for ages if you don’t treat it like WD40 and spray it everywhere. A small squirt into block connectors leave them clean and shiny and all the crud that develops over the years just disappears, meaning excellent electrical contact. Personally, I wouldn’t use anything else.Read full review...

Expensive but excellent product!

Expensive, but worked wonders on my 1970s Fender Telecaster. I had used other less expensive contact cleaners on the the noisy volume & tone pots with little or no success, & had seriously considered replacing them. In hindsight this was money very well spent, & I still have a almost full tin, which will probably last a lifetime!Read full review...

Worth the initial outlay.

Bought this to remove annoying "crackle" on balance control on an old Technics amp. Easy to use and the results were really good. Not only did it remove the crackle, I used it on all of the controls (volume, bass, treble etc) and the overall sound improved noticeably. Although this seems quite expensive, it is definitely worth using to revive older, tired-sounding audio equipment. Would recommend it to anyone.Read full review...

Great Product

I have a very nice audio system and my music is very important to me. I had heard that this product would make a difference but had my doubts. Tried it and it made a huge difference / Cleaned all the plugs and connections and now there is more detail in the sound. I don't fully get how such a simple procedure can give such a big difference but it doesRead full review...

Great for scratchy guitar pots

It's expensive but boy does it work. My old fender guitar not used for years was totally unusable with an amp, with buzzing and scratchy noise from volume and selecter switches. A few squirts using this stuff worked a treat. I honestly did not think it would work but at £26 a great deal cheaper than a repair shop. Movable nozzle useful. Now looking to use on electric contacts points on car window.Read full review...
