A distinct colour cast

I did not realise how bad the result of a colour cast would be. Every shot used with this filter has to be 'warmed'. With some workflow product, and shooting in RAW, this product would be fine. But if you are just shooting JPEGs, and taking the JPEGs straight, you'd be a little disappointed. Point and shoot users, beware!

For the money and for the brand reputation, I thought that this deserves only a 3 star. I'd come to expect more from Hoya.Read full review...
