A traditional approach to Iaido; without the japanese master.
For those looking for insight into the art of Iai-do, this is probably one of the best english refrences.
A well set out text that is very easy to read as it explores not only the Iaido traditions and katas, but also gives insight into the japanese mindset of martial arts and the samurai.
The only negative I have for this text: When re-reading and attempting to learn the katas, it may be difficult to find the information you are looking for as the technical information is often seperated by stories or explanations of the tradtion. However, as I stated earlier, these make the first read a pleasure.Read full review...
