Great to have in my pantry!
These hashbrown potatoes are a great pantry item ~ long shelf life ~ and easy to prepare with minimal effort. I highly recommend them as a pantry staple.

Easy to use
These are easy to use however I don't care much for the flavor. I fried onion and added lots of butter before I thought the taste was good. It would be great for camping or emergency food.

Potatoey
Love these taters. I soak them overnight and fry them in the morning. Very easy to cook and serve. Lao they are a great value.

Good to the last bite
We were eating Hungary Jack hash browns, when they just disappeared off of grocery store shelves. We able to get Idaho Spuds. The quality is just as good as Hungary Jack.

Excellent product
Way better than the dehydrated hashbrowns sold at the supermarket. I keep them at my cabin. I love the convenience.

Even better than home made.
A friend gave us a box of these potatoes and we were hooked. Much better than frozen and much better than the hash browns in the refrigerator case. And of course, they're much more convenient than making them from scratch.
These hash browns have wonderful flavor and brown nicely, perhaps due to the small size of the shreds.
I plan to keep some in my pantry at all times.Read full review...

Golden grill hash brown potatoes
Convenient! Not just for hash browns, great in soups too. Packaged in good portion size containers that are a breeze to rehydrate in.

Easy hashbrowns in minutes
Just finished breakfast. Here's the way you make these hashbrowns: 2- cup glass measuring cup
Fill with the dried hashbrowns
Quarter or half stick of butter, chopped up, laid across the top
>Fill with water.
Place in microwave.
2 minutes on high, or until the butter is reasonably melted.
(Optional)While the taters are reconstituting, fry up some bacon. Do this on medium-high heat. When 3/4 done, place on two layers of Bounty in a large microwavable plate. Cover with two more Bounty sheets and another same plate, inverted, that is upside down. Poor off the excess bacon grease.
(optional) Finely chop some sweet onion. Toss it in the pan. Add some butter if you didn't make the bacon.
Remove the now moist and fat taters from the microwave where they've been waiting. Great chance that they'll be ready to go.
Fire up the pan on highheat, toss in the hashbrowns, mix with the onions.
Place the covered bacon plate in the microwave. Heat on high for 30 seconds. Let sit .
Mind the hashbrowns
After a while, start turning small sections of the taters to be sure they are browning nicely.
Eventually, you'll have them looking like a million dollars.
Push them into little piles and crack some eggs in between.
Turn the bacon plate over. Heat for another 30 seonds on high.
Remove from microwave and place uncover on the table.
Plate your eggs and hashbrowns.
Enjoy your breakfast.
I probably should have started with, use a nice non-stick 14" skillet.
