GOOD BASIC HISTORY, SOME ERRORS TO BE EXPECTED

How many books are there on Keeseville, New York? This compelling work was created with assistance from the local historical society. I would have liked more accurate reporting on the local railroads, which are misidentified as Canadian Pacific (was Delaware & Hudson until 1990, and NOW is CP), and some inconsistent abandonment dates on Keeseville, Ausable Chasm & Lake Champlain Railroad's creation (should be 1889) and abandonment (was 1924). Michael Kudish's WHERE DID THE TRACKS GO IN THE EASTERN ADIRONDACKS? would be the ultimate source for accurate information on the local railroads. I'm glad to have Kyle Page's book for its general of this towns rich industrial and architectural treasures.Read full review...
