Great little documentary

I happened upon this movie while on vacation in Chattanooga, TN with my kids, and saw it on Imax. Now I'm biased, being from British Columbia, but I found this captivating. Beautiful nature shots, brief, on point explanations of how the railway was planned and built through the treacherous B.C. interior and Canadian Rockies, and the many hardships and tragedies that came with it. Great soundtrack as well. I have since watched the blu-ray twice. I highly recommend this documentary and feel it would be of interest to anyone and everyone.Read full review...

Amazing film

Saw this film in IMAX at the British Columbia museum in Victoria, Canada.
That was a glorious visual experience.
Later was surprised to find it for sale in Blu-ray DVD.
It may not match the IMAX format, but it is still amazing to watch on TV screen. Extremely well done - the thrill of the photography will blow you away

never saw a Blu Ray DVD's. Fantastic. The scenery is stunning. The history of the train is fascinating. I first saw at IMAX but this is just as good in the comfort of my home.
