John Lennon's Novel "In His Own Write"

There are only a few things I can say about this book to sum it up.
First of all, I'm a HUGE fan of The Beatles and John Lennon. So when I first saw this item was for sale, I had to GET IT. There was no exceptions. I recommend it to any fan of John Lennon or The Beatles. It's really a great collectible I think! I've been collecting Beatle items for ages now myself, and so it'll add on just great. But anyway back to the novel, its witty, creative and full of awesome drawings by non-other than Lennon himself.
I personally enjoy art so it was a bit of a winner for me from the start.
And if your the sort of person who enjoys to read something weird, interesting, and just straight up catchy...it's this book.
My cousins have all read it, along with some of my close friends, and they all seem to have enjoyed it. It's DIFFERENT so too speak. But very ground-breaking and jaw opening really. You'll read it and think.."how did Lennon ever think of that.."
It's one of my personal favorites.
It's like taking a crazy adventure deep inside John's mind.

John Lennon in His Own Write, The Writing Beetle

I love this book, especially the drawings. My book say; The Writing Beatle! on the cover. Mine says Simon and Schuster New york 1964, Rockefeller Center Twelfth Printing. It's so cool to have and be able to show my children the kid like drawings of a grown-up that was so famous. You can be anything you want to be. Take a look. A Beatle fan from the first, I wanted my granddaughter to appreciate the wonderful drawings and poems of John Lennon. She and I write nonscense poetry and do funny little drawing. I knew she would love the book and it would inspire her to continue in her own artistic endeavors. It was for her 10th Birthday. A must have for any John Lennon fan. I had an original copy of this back when it came out in the mid-60's, but alas, gave it to one of my kid's babysitters who was a JL fan. Can't wait to read and enjoy it again.Read full review...
