Amazing bit of kit, does what it's meant to do for a great price & size

Great all in one coffee machine for the price. Love the simplicity of this, size is small yet holds enough for 2 large mugs of coffee. Roughly takes 10 miniutes from grinding to finishing. Super simple to clean, no messy small parts just rinse under the tap. Only slight issue is that the grinder is a bit noisy, however its only for about 10 seconds. Poor grind and poor coffee extraction.

Had one today for my birthday. Very disappointed. The bean grind is not adequate resulting in very poor coffee extraction. Even on selection of a fine grind the grind is not good enough.
For comparison I repeated this using exactly the same weight of beans in a separate grinder and a cafetière. The latter was perfect.
Such a pity. I will try this again only next time, and after selecting the fine grind and immediately after the grinding ceases, I will switch the machine off before the water starts pumping over the coffee. I will then start the machine again selecting a fine grind. If I have to do this several times to obtain a fine grind it might mean that the machine is just not up to the job and a waste of money.
On the up side though it might be good enough for ground filter coffee.
