Fastest CPU for Mac Mini 2007
This is the fastest CPU you can install in the Mac Mini 2007. It performs about 20-25% faster than my original CPU (Core 2 Duo 1.83). Booting and certain everyday tasks are noticeably faster after the upgrade. In this sense this is a worthwhile upgrade which will extend the life of my old Mac Mini.

The best upgrade for an older laptop.
This is perfect to upgrade an old Dell e1505, the old one was 1.66GHz and oh so slow. With this CPU upgrade and an upgrade to the wifi card the speed is really really much better that new because it actually is better than new.Read full review

The resurrection of an old iMac 2006
I have used this processor for upgrade an old Apple iMac (Late 2006). Unfortunately, this is the most powerful processor that can be installed on the iMac. Oldie but Goodie
It feels a bit strange being asked to write a review for a functionally obsolete CPU, but there is still some life left in these things. I have a server that was using a slower CPU (1.66 GHz, I think), and now that the faster CPUs can be obtained dirt-cheap, I figured why not?
