An old ang very good processor

It is strange to write a review on a discontinued processor. But let me tell you that the new processor do not work as well as this processor does. It is because regular users do not know how to use the features of new processors, and as a matter of fact, very few people do. Just those who know how to squeeze the benefits of technology. Pentium D950 Delivers Great Performance Improvement with Minimum Cost

I bought this CPU to upgrade an IBM/Lenovo ThinkCentre M-8215 (MT/M-8215 D6U). I kept the same BIOS (2EKT46A). It runs as cool as previous CPU (Pentium 4 661 w/HT) with stock heat sink and 2 stock fans. This is the fastest processor with Dual Core the M-8215 can run per Lenovo web site. Used for ESXi on HP Proliant server

This was the best CPU I could get for an old HP Proliant DL320 G4. Used it to put VMware ESXi 5.5 on it. Works great. Awesome cheap buy to bring your old server into the modern virtual age.

Perfect processor upgrade for old HP pavillion computer
