Intel Q6600 quad core
The Q6600 is still a great cpu especially for the very low price for these bad boys. The chip is highly overclockable (with a decent mobo...) Frame rate on my 10 year old computer is 80 to 85 fps, playing WOW Legion.Read full review

Good CPU for older computer
It a good cpu if you want to keep an older computer running for a bit longer. It help for me, running a 2009 acer aspire x1800 slim pc. It is older tech so wouldn't say use it if you want to make a gaming computer from bottom up but if you already have the parts it helps.
Thank you for still having it around o/Read full review

Modern speed from an Old Machine
I installed this in a Dell Workstation 390....... Manufactured in 2006.
It now competes in speed with the I5 Processor in my newer tower.

Much nicer than the dual core CPU's we have around here.
Keep in mind this is an antiquated socket to be using so don't expect to suddenly have instant everything. We use several programs 24/7 and we noticed our CPU usage was always at 100%. We figured for under $30 we might as well try this quad core out and sure enough it has made the test pc faster. I'll likely be ordering some more to replace the rest of the CPU's in the office since it's cheap. If you have the money you should try upgrading the entire computer versus dragging out the life of 8 year old tech as it's significantly slower then the newer chips running on LGA 1150 or even better the LGA 1151 socket. If you're going for cheap and effective at moderate tasks then this is good enough for most people. If you're trying to game or want to really multitask without lagging, then you may want to look at upgrading to a newer chip/socket.Read full review

Great quad core CPU
Needed an LGA775 CPU for a Dell Precision T3400 and it made a big improvement from the 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo that was already installed.

Worked great
I order this item as birthday present. They even sent happy birthday on the package like I asked. Made my buddies day. Thanks so much.

GREAT upgrade for old LGA775 boards.
Wonderful. If you've got a dual core LGA775 processor, consider purchasing one of these. It absolutely pushes my rig into the mid 2010's, and for the price you can't really best it.
Good price, watch the packing
Works well, was really cheap, but the packing was a little strange - it was wrapped in what looked like aluminum foil directly contacting the chip, which was then packaged in bubble wrap. An antistatic bag would have been preferred, but other than that, no complaints. Thanks!Read full review

Works as Intended
Niece had an old PC, this was the max CPU it would take. Got a bit more life out of it before we needed to just get a whole new PC. Was a cheap temporary upgrade.
