This cpu still kicks butt in april 2018.

It's not the top of the stack anymore by far but it's still a great performer. Most games make use of the gpu more than the cpu anyway, newer faster cpus do speed up gameplay but the bulk of the experience is from the gpu. That said, this cpu will still keep pace with the newest cards and gamers and it has some decent OC headroom too.Read full review

Fantastic CPU for it's age

The CPU is working well and I even overclocked it to 3.9 ghz on liquid cooling and it stays below 60c. I got it paired with a GTX 980ti and can even do 4k gaming with reasonable performance. I recommend this cpu if you want to extend the life of your gaming PC.Read full review

4770-K in 2019 still rocks to this day.

"Haswell" just doesn't disappoint even after six years of initial release this micro architecture still does an amazing job, it has a decent "Cinebench r15" rating at 4.4ghz OC at a max temp of 75-81°c. Just love this 4770-K.Read full review

Nice for an older gen intel
