A perfect upgrade for that aging Mac Pro 4.1 Installation requires the 5.1 firmware upgrade and processor upgrade is simple. New life for a vintage X58 mobo

Noticeably more power than the i7-920 that it replaced, I think my NOS relic desktop is viable. I'm not a "gamer" any more, so it should be a better replacement than my 2009 mobo & CPU.
