Not a cookbook for Americans!

I bought this cookbook beause I was looking for Italian recipes for 2 people. When I received the book, I realized it was written by 2 English chefs and the recipes were just not anything I would ever eat. Even the photos of the food were very unappetising, most using ingredients that I wasn't familiar with, and the visual presentations were so peculiar! If you were born and raised in England, you may find this cookbook interesting, but as an American living in England, I thought it was a total waste of my money. English food is just not up to American standards in my opinion, and this collection of recipes just reinforced that.Read full review...
