The Joyo JF-01 is great pedal for those wanting a true bypass, "tube-screamer" style of overdrive. I bought this after watching YouTube reviews, and the pedal has lived up to all expectations. I set my amp clean channel to slight "crunch", and when the JF-01 is engaged, my tone changes (smoothly) to great rock tone, useful for power chords or lead. The pedal is very well built and easy to set up. Great value and versatile. Use for rock, but not metal tones; or turn down the GAIN knob, increase the LEVEL and use it as a boost to cut through the mix. Read full review...

The best pedal I have ever bought, and the cheapest!!! GREAT.
If you like fender tones and enjoy overdriven tones, and you like eq control i reckon this is the best budget pedal out there.
i tames the volume on my Fender champ clone, by using the Level control, yet allows the great amp tones to shine through.
i can turn my amp up to mid level which is too loud for home use, tame it with the level down and sweeten it up with the voice knob. A bit more drive just turn the drive knob.
And to fine tune use the bass mid treb knobs.
It only cost $55 or so and is a heap of fun. best of all the tones achievable are easy to get and sound great.
Look at YouTube for other reviews, and don't be put off by the JOYO / china cheapo clone stuff. Have fun.Read full review...
