It can part....
I have used this on my Sony A7Rii since new. When on location one day, I had two cameras on the go. Unfortunately they touched and I thought I had broken the LCD screen as it looked chipped and cracked on an edge. I was gutted. I decided to hold fire on the very expensive replacement screen and ordered a new protector to see if I could use it to stop the cracking. To my total amazement, when I carefully removed the old protector, it was just the protector that had shattered and not the screen! So pleased.
However, on replacing it later on, it seemed to part and give the impression that it had damaged the screen. Thankfully, under a very bright light, it showed a vert thin film still over the whole screen. On removal, all was okay. Scary and I’ve never seen this happen before. Perfect
The cover covers with an effective cleaner for the LCD screen, and a cloth. It's best to make sure your hands are clean and oil free before starting and that there isn't too much dust floating around in the air - a bathroom or kitchen is best for this. Once I'd cleaned the screen and peeled off the protective film from the cover, fitting it required only a couple of seconds to make sure it was aligned properly before applying it to the screen. The instructions say to press lightly in the centre of the cover and the static charge will complete the job, but I didn't even have to press. Not perfect match for A7II
Format is not match for lcd screen of A7Ii. There is 1mm of uncovered edge on all 4 sides.
I have lcd protection from the same manufacturer for my A6000 and it is a perfect match for A6000 lcd screen.
