Jobst Stocking Donner
I ordered this stocking Donner for my 92 year old mother who has swollen legs all the time. She was told by her doctor, to wear compression hose. It was hard for her to put them on by herself. Since we got the stocking Donner, now she can do this herself. Its easy for her, and the padded handles make it great for her, with arthritis in her hands. We ordered the regular length handles. Its made of sturdy metal, no cheap stuff. I would highly recommend this product, for anyone who needs help putting on socks, or hose. Thanks! MGRead full review

Not good for big mens feet
Bought this for one of my clients, his feet are size 12 and has large calves...didn't work for him. Should be more descriptive for leg size when selling I guess. This would work for a small persons foot wonderfully as it is a great idea.Read full review

Without this device, I would have had to throw the socks away.
I would never have been able to gets the 20-30 compression socks on without this device. Not even close. Just pull the sock over it according to the enclosed instructions until only a few inches of the toe is left, making sure the heel is facing toward the back, just as it is on your foot. Then get your toes seated in the end of the sock and pull the rest of it on. A little adjustment might be required after that to get the heel properly located, but that's doable without needing a special device. Later I found that it's almost as difficult to get them off unless it's done in a certain way. I thought I was going to have to cut them off, but a YouTube video solved that problem. Just start from the top and pull downward so that one layer is sliding over the underneath layer. Never try rolling them down. You won't get far before causing yourself a lot of pain. This smaller size is supposed to accommodate up to 18" calves. I measured mine at 16.5" and maybe I should have bought the larger size, but it's OK. If yours measure more than 16.5" circumference, you might want to get the larger device.Read full review

Donner for compresion stockings application
The product is handy and practical. I gave it a 4 because I believe Donner height should be a little taller (+~ 2-1/2 inch), so the patient (tall) can easily reach with the stocking heel fully to the floor of the Donner; also, process was harder because the person has swollen legs and ankles (She purchased compression stockings size XL, when actually her size is L).

Jobst Stocking Donner
I had to start wearing support hose recently and soon found out it was very difficult to get them on without a device like this to help. It's clumsy and a bother to use, but it works pretty slick once you get the hang of it. I'm not sure there is any other alternative if you must wear support hose.Read full review

could be a little better design.
The product works but is a little small for my big calf and I would like some guides on the back of the ring so it would be easier to remove the stocking from the product so I could pull it all the way up.Read full review

Works as promised
Took a bit of time to figure this out, but once I did it worked just fine. Helped to make putting on my support socks much easier. Although it might be hard to use for the highest support level.

Good product for those needing compression sox
Not "fun" to have to wear compression sox, but these are open toed which makes it a bit cooler.
Other colors would be nice. Not everyone wearing these sox are old! : )

They changed the design!
Jobst changed the design from the one our occupational therapist showed us. The center frame where the sock gets put over is now wider than the one she showed us. Maybe the new design is stronger although that hadn't appeared to be a problem. But the extra width makes it extra harder to stretch the compression socks into place.Read full review
