Good for what it is - a cheap entry level camcorder

I bought this camcorder on a whim since I wanted a Mini DV camera that I could hook to my computer and make simple videos to post online. This camera is entry level and has few features. I bought mine on ebay and it was like new. So far it's working just fine. I could not get the camera to work with Windows Vista, but it may have been due to an issue with my firewire device driver rather than the camera itself. Now that I am using it on a computer with Windows XP, it is easy to use software to pull the videos off of tape and edit them. The low light performance of this camera is laughable at best. If you are looking to purchase this camera, it's because you don't want to spend a lot of money. I don't plan to make that many movies, so it suits me just fine to use to document some events and make tutorial videos that I post to youtube. JVC GR D250US Camcorder

Excellent camcorder had one it broke...was glad I was able to replace it with another one. Would recommmend this camcorder to first time buyers very easy to use.

Great Camera

Works great, does actually what I needed it for. To covert to tapes used in camera to DVD. It makes a really awesome camera but I use to for other reasons. Works awesome for that purpose as well

Got exactly what i deserved.

It is a great little machine, and in good condition .. . I love it, but if you want to share videos on the computer, choose a newer model lol
