Janis Ian is an American treasure. She sings several of her past hits and some that were new to me. Her voice is as beautiful and moving as it was when she first recorded "Society's Child" in the 60's and Ms. Ian's guitar work for "On the Other Side" is nothing less than astounding. Included are some personal moments with Janis as well as commentary from fans who traveled to the show - some from as far away as Ireland! A must-have for any Janis Ian fan. A must in every music lover's library

I recently read Janis Ian's autobiography out of curiosity...I wasn't a fan and did not know much about her. I was smitten with her writing voice so I ordered the DVD to see her personality live and listen to her poetic/musical voice...now doubly smitten. Janis is a musician's musician, a poet's poet and an artist's artist. Whatever style of music you like, there is something for you.
