The Playstation had perhaps the greatest 1st and 2nd wave of games for any system ever. Jet Moto is among its golden moments. Created by the team behind Twisted Metal (Singletrac), Jet Moto featured unique riders, tracks, and the Mountain Dew racing team. The game is the most fun in VS mode against friend (as most games are), and for those lone racers out there, features some tough tracks towards the end (look for a Youtube video of the Nightmare track). Simply this game should be in any PSX fan's library.
Jet Moto 2 features more tracks (including all of the original ones), new racers, and naturally improved graphics. The handling was revamped in this one and takes a bit of time getting acclimated to its physics engine. If you must pick only part 1 or 2, go for 2, since it features all of the tracks from the first game.Read full review...

I bought this game for my grandson who is stuck in a rut with his Star Wars games, thinking that some variety would be nice for him! It has a large variety of levels that I thought would be good for a beginning gamer and provide challenges for him in the future. The variety of scenery is also appealing; especially, the aerial track floating high above a brightly-lighted cityscape!
