Built well....feels solid

I have owned one of those cheap flimsy type string winders you see next to the checkout counters at your local music store....yes...they do the job. But..they break easily.
When mine broke... I purchased this Dunlop deluxe winder.
The difference is like night & day. This winder is solid... It has a larger handle and the part that slides over your tuner pegs fits more securely. It just works better...smoother.. Does not wobble and catch like the cheap ones. Even worked well on my 12 string.. Which has pretty close tuning machines.

Nothing less of great!

Doesn't come apart when you use it.

Great solid product, has a compartment for whatever. This one may not cut strings but it won't fall apart when ya try to wind them like a lot of the other ones on eBay.

May not fit your pegs well.

Smooth action. Neither slot option for tuning pegs fit the Grover tuners on my Martin properly, but the oversize slot option is serviceable...with wobble in use. The smaller slot option is too small.
