installed this on my genesis coupe 3.8 after a muffler delete due to previous owner removing the resonator. Car was way to loud had a little rasp. This completely eliminated the rasp, and kept the same great tone just at a slightly quieter level. Before loudness was a 10/10 now it is right around a 6/10. Great product for the price. Some of the welds on the inside could have been better so it sounded like a small material of weld was in the resonator free floating if you shook it however did not really affect the product as a whole once installed.Read full review...

Connectors welded on crooked.
Pipe connectors are welded on crooked. Earlier versions had good manufacturing quality. For a good inexpensive muffler these will last about 2.5 years in the rust belt. I just bought my last one of these. It's too big of a pain to cut off the connectors and weld them on straight. I have used 3 of these in the past 6 years on the same car.Read full review...

Made of heavy gauge steel but lacked aluminized finish so i had to paint it.
The louvered tubes are barely perforated but it met my expectations.

These are super mellow sounding. Much quieter than a glass pack or straight through muffler. Retain the classic turbo muffler sound in a compact package. Inner tubes are smaller in diameter than the inlet
