We can't return, we can only look behind from where we came.

This is a great slice of history. The album notes written by Barbara Stowe, daughter of Irving Stowe, Co-Founder of Greenpeace is worth at least half the price. The birth of Greenpeace is a history we should all be more familiar with. The Phil Ochs band performance is a nice reminder of what popular hometown bands were like. Sadly, not really a thing anymore.

James Taylor's set was good, and it was wonderful to hear his "clear as a bell" sweet baby James voice again. The second disc is just Joni. She had just discovered the dulcimer, she experiments with phrasing and chording, she is shy yet reaches her audience. During her performance you can hear a pin drop, and hear people catching their breath as her lyrics and harmonies touch them. The duet of Mister Tambourine Man Joni and James Taylor did was sweet. They try and fail at harmony - then they succeed for a moment, then are rescued by the audience that join the chorus.

Moments frozen in time. Share it with a young person. Joni should never leave the stage.
