Sweet Game and yes truly HTF
OK who stretched this %$#@^& page out so long,
I need a 87" wide monitor to read it without scrolling!
Anyway, heres actually a legible, concise review of the
game ( believe it or not)
Orchestral soundtrack.
Total freedom to build or destroy.
Beautiful dinosaur models and sounds.
Lots of blood when the prey item is eaten.
Actual Characters from the movies, the voices are close too.
Varied and fun missions AND world building.
Being able to charge 800$ for admission (and get it)
Actual twisters (waterspouts can rip through your park leaving damage.
The cons
Those same twisters can cause the game to lock up SOLID,
be sure to save when a twister strikes. Always a good Idea to save often anyway
But ALWAYS when one hits or you WILL BE sorry!
Only 5 or so different people models walking around the park just
lots of them not a huge gripe, but it does distract from the overall
realism.
The dinos seem to die too quickly, everything is time accelerated, so
even if you have enough quality DNA to make them live for a year
(which is not an easy task for some of the dinos) Its only like a couple
hours of "real time" play so you are CONSTANTLY breeding more dino s just
to keep up, with the dead and dying ones, I wish they lived longer in "real time" so I could concentrate on other aspects of the game like ride and attraction customization, and of course how to charge 70$ dollars for a
salad and get away with it! "blood sucking lawyers"

Overall a really fun game, one of the better licensed movie games out there

Game does not work......
I’ve waited a long time to pick this gem up to show to my sons. I put it in my Xbox, and it doesn’t work! I took it out, cleaned it, and to no avail! I can’t return it either! I’m out $64 and I have two disappointed children. Read full review...

Easy to use and entertaining!
I bought this game used recently. This game is about 7 years old but the graphics arent bad in my opinion.
The feel of the game is consistently entertaining and holds your attention well without it becoming stressful or hard to follow. This would be a great game for kids and adults alike. There are tutorials to give you basics on how to play before you jump into creating your own park. The atmosphere of the game is nearly relaxing because of the music scores. Not a loud obnoxious game by any means. The most suspenseful thing I've experienced in the island's storms.
I love how this game allows you to be so creative. It's a shame there hasnt been a sequal. This older Xbox game does not yield achievements for your Xbox profile unfortunately, especially since there is so much to be accomplished in this gameplay.
There are plenty of dinosaurs, although a lot of dinosaurs were cut out of the game during development. No water dinosaurs or flying dinosaurs, just land dinosaurs. But theres still plenty enough dinosaurs to keep you busy.
This will quinch your childhood desire to construct and manage your own dinosaur park. Lots of fun!
My suggestion is if you have a problem with the higher price of this older game, to just buy a used copy without the case and instructions, the game has tutorials anyways.Read full review...

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis
I bought this game for my son for Christmas . He had this game for Playstation 2 and it got broke. It is a really had to find game. If you have a child who really likes dinosaurs or Jurassic Park this is a great game. They get to make up their own park, deciding where everything should go,How many people to employ, what to charge for everything (even the bathroom). It's a one player game, But would be good for the family to just sit and try to make up the park,the game gives you ratings on your park The better your park the higher the ratings. It tells you when the park visitors are unhappy or if the really enjoy it. You have people out digging to find more and more DNA so that you can make more dinos. You research vaccines. you have to feed the dinos and sometimes you have them get sick, sometimes they die. You have to watch the weather , it has tornados and you have to get all the visitors to shelter. sometimes your park has damage and you have to fix it before the people can leave. Worth The Price??
Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis is one of the most hard to come by and expensive games for the original Xbox. It really is worth what you have to pay for it, though. Basically, the game has the same concept as Roller Coaster Tycoon, only it uses Jurassic Park attractions, i.e. dinosaurs, rather than amusement rides. I would imagine it will only go up in value, so it was definitely worth buying it, even though it was a little bit pricey. Buying it under thirty dollars is a steal. Besides building your own park, the game offers the option of living through up to twelve different "survival" scenarios. It is definitely one of the better games for Xbox, and it's pretty far up there amongst Playstation 2 games as well. Jurassic Park original game for xbox360
My son loves the game. Just need to purchase hard drive for your xbox 360 to support the memory. It was easy to install and I would suggest purchasing a certified used hard drive to save you @ $40 to $50 . Game is similar to zoo tycoon or other like games.Read full review...
