Best acoustic pickup on the market
The K&K Pure is the best out there. Completely avoids the "quack" of under saddle pickups and doesn't interfere with the sound of the un-amplified instrument. No preamp (hence battery) is required. Installation is simple ( but please do a "dry" run before using glue.) The only downside is feedback at higher volumes. If you play in a band and need higher volumes and under saddle is probably a better choice.Read full review...

This pickup produces a clear, natural acoustic sound without any quackiness or strange overtones. Works great even without a pre-amp. Highly recommended. KKK Pure Mini's - Easy to install
I've used many KKK products. These are easy to install and effective. You really need a DI box to get good sound although they are hot enough to use without any conditioning or pre-amp.

The K&K. Mini Pure system projects more than just the sound of the acoustic guitar, but rather the ambience, complexity and overall feel of the instrument. Maintains natural acoustic tone.
I found with the amplifier that I have I do not need to use a preamp. There are no controls on this pickup, so volume, etc is set at the amplifier. I mostly play in my living room, so I do not find this to be a problem. If I were playing out, it might be a different story. Installation was fairly straight forward following the instructions.
