Don't sleep on Kicker
Have been using Kicker since 1988. They have always delivered hard hitting bass with exceptional quality, that's why you still see their product around after 30 years.
I first used the Comp VR in the earlier 2000s at Circuit City. These subs are my favorite in the Kicker line. I have used the Comps all the way to the L7s, but dollar-for-dollar the VR cannot be beat.
These sound best in large sealed boxes. They will take their RMS and then some.....just remember to stretch then before working them out.
People that only talk about "flexing"and "xmax" don't get it. There is a ton of science in a subwoofer. Kicker has in-house research to back their product, not just uploads of vibrating rearview mirrors from youtube.
If you want clean, accurate and when you need it.....LOUD rolling-down-the-street bass......Kicker will deliver. They stand behind their stuff too, a 12volt O.G. for sure.Read full review...
