A Little Kitchenaid Gem
For years I've owned a Cuisinart food processor, and it's in almost daily use. I've thought many times that if I was forced to choose only one small appliance for my kitchen, it would have to be the food processor. Lately I've been thinking about getting a smaller one for things like chopping parsley and garlic, or very small amounts of various things. After researching the available brands and reading reviews and watching demonstrations, I decided on the Kitchenaid Mini.
I liked it as soon as I took it out of its box. It's a cute little machine, compact and sturdy looking, and a nice shade of red. When it's not in use, the cord fits neatly around the base.
I've used it now for several weeks, and so far I've only tried chopping parsley, garlic, and onions in it, and have made salad dressing. It performs beautifully, chopping evenly. No spatters with the dressings. It has a well-designed opening in the lid for drizzling oil into the dressing. It's fast and quiet. Comes apart easily for cleaning and snaps back together easily as well. Its bowl, lid, and blade can go into the dishwasher, but I prefer washing them by hand.

Would be a great product if it came complete with all parts
I would have given 5 stars but it came with one of the rubber feet missing and it is real wobbly on the counter. I tried several times to get a replacement for the rubber foot pad that is missing but no luck. The blender works great as far as chopping.Read full review
