Great speaker... F U N

I describe myself as an "audiophile on a budget", so let's put that out there. I have owned virtually every pair of speakers you can imagine (JBL, Martin Logan, Aperian, Axiom, KEF, Snell, Elan, B&W, Klipsch, Revel... you name it). I lean towards floorstanders, but have also gone the bookshelf route a time or two over the years. I am currently running everything through Parasound pre/amp equipment. (Also, just for a reference point, I am in my 50's)

The Klipsch RF-7 III's are exactly what they claim to be... big, well made, furniture grade finish, very powerful, and a whole lot of musical fun. These are among the top three or four speakers that I've owned (out of about 40 pairs, so that's saying something), due mainly to the fact that they are very "tuneful", and, I keep saying it... just fun (as in enjoyable).

The only drawback to these would be their pluses... they are big and heavy and they need room to breath (a decent sized room - not a bedroom). I do a lot of critical listening, and these will fall a little short for the most critical listening, but I still listen to them in spite of that, because, you know what?... They are just "fun" to listen to. (Oops, I said it again)

I guess what I am saying is, if you like music, and don't want to get hung up on the details - run, don't walk to buy these speakers. I don't think you will regret it. You know why? Because they make listening to music fun again!

Great speakers

For the money, you will not find a better speaker to handle bunches of power. Sound is very, very good as well. You do not need a sub, but I have a Klipsch sub also. You will not be disappointed with these speakers. I have them in my bedroom, but they would serve even better in a bigger room. Very happy with my purchase. And so is my Sunfire & Carver system. High SPL With great features.

The speakers are TOO LOUD at slow volume.. Guess what? I Love it....the best speakers ever had. I have the top of the line Polk Audio speakers and infinity loud speaker system as well..The Klipsch wins.

You can't go wrong with the RF7!!!

The sound is so tight and clear. Bi-amp compatible if you want. Sometimes I can't believe the sound of these speakers. You'll hear things you've never heard in your music. Drive them with a quality amplifier and you'll be more than impressed with these. Read full review...

Incredible sound

My recommendation is the pair it with a Yamaha Amp. And a good small subwoofer. It’s probably the best value in speaker she can buy. Just awesome
