Lock is great app needs work!

The Kwikset Halo lock was an easy replacement for my old manual deadbolt lock. WIFI connection with the app was very easy. I really like the notification to my phone each time the lock locks or opens. The only problem I am having is getting the app to pair with another phone. The instructions for pairing do not match the current screens. on the app. Some people have complained about the noise when the lock opens and closes. I like it. it confirms it's doing it's job. The only bad thing I could say is that the installation instructions don’t give enough information about WiFi recommendations or about the security feature of the touchscreen. You must have WPA2 encryption on your WiFi and the touchscreen will display two numbers when activated that you must touch before the entire touchscreen will display to enter your code.Read full review...

Smart key WiFi remote key code lock

Love the ability to WiFi remote control, notification of lock and unlock, plus smart key when need. Would be nice to have notification of who use the lock for entry when code is used.

Not working properly

Almost all the time WiFi lock-unlock doesn’t work. It say Lock offline.

Very poor battery life

Very poor (20 day) battery life. The battery life for this unit is very bad. Reviews in Kwiksets website indicates that this is a common problem
