Incredible product! A genuinely ingenious product from Lego. Recommended.
Initially, I knew nothing about this product until I bought another Lego Set from the Alien Conquest range. It was the Earth Defence HQ set. When I looked it up on Brickipedia, it mentioned that the set was hevily influenced by this set. I immediately scoured eBay for this set as I thought it looked to be an incredible example of Lego brilliance and, unsurprisingly, it doesn't disappoint!
The way this set conceals at least 6 mini vehicles, along with a range of play features (such as a working projector, a crane and a jail cell) and yet still looks streamline and in no way misshapen when closed is amazing! The range of minifigures is good too, with 2 villains and 4 heroes, each packing a range of weapons and gadgets (including laptops).
I have to admit that this set is going to take some beating in my eyes. It has set the bar incredibly high for all other Lego sets. Even the aforementioned Alien Conquest Earth Defence HQ isn't nearly as good as this is.Read full review...
Just what he wanted for Xmas
My 9 year old loved making this Xmas present. Only drawback is it can't be moved much to play with as bits break off so keeps it static and plays with it that way.
