This lego set was purchased as a gift during Halloween. The tree was a challenging build for the child but this was a welcome challenge. The set is still being used to this day. What I actually bought was a set of 5 Lego Monster Fighters sets for my son age 10 and for my two grandsons ages 4 and 9. The sets require following directions both graphic illustrations and written directions and allow for creative variations of all kinds. The sets were a complete hit with everyone.
