Great Android smartphone!

I bought this phone as a replacement for a Blackberry Curve that was on it's last legs and I should have done it a lot sooner. Easy to use Google Play app store (formerly Android Market), speak to text built in to texting system so no need to download Vlingo or other apps for that luxury,and plenty of Siri clone apps that do the same thing Siri does for free in app store. I was amazed. Incredible battery life if you make sure you close apps out and exit when you are done and if you use wi-fi. Voice quality on calls is great too. The only thing I don't love about the phone is that the texting buttons are small and it is easy to make mistakes while texting and hit the wrong button. The talk to text part helps with this though and texting using the pad of your index finger or the side of the index finger instead of using your thumbs helps. Over all a great smartphone for basic needs and then some. I'm buying a second one for my fiance so we can both have a decent phone for a change. Highly recommended!Read full review...

Awesome... Android lover now

My first droid phone, its pretty awesome so far. Im a young 22 year old female.. never had problems with technology but this phone made me feel CHALLENEGED.. like to an extreme.. once I got over the learrning curve tho its a pretty awesome phone and it does alot. THe keyboard messed up sometimes as far as swype, and getting the words you may use every day into the dictionary takes a while but the phone is sexy and sleek, alot of great features and pretty good battery life for a smartphone so far, of course im still downloading apps so we will see if it holds up.. all in all for 80 bucks im VERY HAPPY

UPDATE: This phone is AMAZING for its money.. not only did I drop this phone in the toiler ( it took a few days to dry out ) but it came back to FULL functionality... I had it in the kitchen and it got wet.. again.. on accident.. dropped it a few times.. and I mean hard... Im buying another one because this phone is TOUGH!Read full review...

A good, affordable, basic android phone that doesn't feel cheap!

Bought this phone as a gift for my 15 year old daughter. Was looking for a simple, basic android phone that could handle being tossed around but would function efficiently & speedily. This phone has no bells & whistles and is not compatible with a lot of game apps, etc. However, most of the regular, useful apps do work on it & it is a reliable, hardy little phone. Paid $90 for a very lightly used model (looks practically brand new)& we are happy. If my daughter loses or destroys the thing - no great loss & affordable to replace!Read full review...

Cool little Mobile

The phone is light and fits in my jean pocket which is great. The battery life could be better, I always have to charge the battery at night and once during the day while out and about the battery ran almost to zero.

Navigation is really easy on the phone, just touch and slide. I did notice on reviews that the talk quality was rated low, about 2 out of 5. The reviews could have been more specific,the talk quality that I have noticed a considered drop off from the Blackberry is the volume; when talking, even when at the max, the caller sounds soft unless I am using the speaker phone.

Overall, I would recommend this phone. The Sprint store was having a sale on these mobiles so check there before spending $100 as I did on Ebay.Read full review...

Great phone for a great price. Great into Android phone.

So, far so good. Great features and lots of free apps. I am switching from a Blackberry, so it will take a few days to adjust. Typing on the touchscreen is the biggest issue. Overall, it is a great phone. Battery life is average for a smartphone.Read full review...

If you want a solid Android phone at half the normal price, this is for you

This is a great Android phone for people who want to be able to have the full effect of Android while not paying the premium for the high-end Android smartphones such as the Evo 4G or Droid Incredible. The battery life was more than I expected, much more than that of my last phone, the android powered Samsung Moment. This phone, while having a 300MHz slower processor than my old Samsung Moment, also outperforms it, most likely due to running Android 2.2 and having a newer architecture processor.Read full review...

Great product like a mini computer for your pocket, awesome value

This is my second lg optimus s phone, lost my first one and had to replace the greatest phone i ever had. This phone is so easy to use touch screen is amazingly accurate. Great thing about this phone it is like having a mini computer in your pocket i was using navigation, listening to pandora, and accepting calls all at once it is an amazing phone. i would recommend getting another battery on ebay if you plan on using the phone for everything. Compared to other phones i have had hands down best touch screen phone ever and the speak button is dead on accurate never had that on a phone. say an address in navigation dead on right. great phone ebayers!!!!!Read full review...

Nice phone w/ limited processor--horrible Sprint Network is the problem!

Nice Android phone for the $$$. But it is still on the horrible Sprint network! Note that the screen is small & processor is not what the EVO etc is but it is value packed.
