12 inch light bar - easy fitment and not too bad for the price
For under $30AUD it is a good product, built well and would be perfect for highway night driving. However, you might want something with more punch if you are driving country roads at night.

Good bar, but bad and falsely avertised as such.
Purchased : 12v 12 inch 240 watt cree LED bar based on it being '240 watts'
Measured the current, which should be around 18 to 21 amps depending on voltage.
I couldn't get it to draw over 2.8 amps when at 12.2volts. Which , you may as well call it 36 watts. Sure, light output is ok for its size, but I purchased it based on its headlines being this wizz bang 24x 10w CREE leds as the headlines read. But that is totally rubbish.
I just feel like I got totally duped.

Good value
The item is well made and solid, however the claimed wattage hasn't been my experience. At 12v it took up to 3 Amp so by my math is around 36 Watt. One can only assume they are claiming that the light given off is equilivant to a 250W incandescent light bulb?

Solid construction, great price, effective light
I purchased these for use on railway maintenance equipment and was willing to test them at this price. They arrived well packaged and came with a pre made wiring harness. This alone was worth the price as it saves the time and cost to fabricate one. The switch could be stronger, but as I'm wiring into an existing loom, it isn't a problem. Other people may wish to replace it with a stronger, more positive unit. On examination, the lights are solidly made and the mounting bracket affixes very positively. Good adjustability and locks up well, although loctite may eventually be needed in a high vibration environment. Light output is strong and as described, providing both a spot and spread beam. At this price you can go wrong. The brand alternatives are ten times the price and bear striking similarities anyway. I'm willing to test these at this cost, but my experience so far is very positive.Read full review...
