Headache free data transfer
This is exactly what I needed. I was able to transfer footage from my GoPro Hero 8 onto my old MacBook Air without issue.
I also managed the data directly on my micro SD, delete some and kept the rest which I still needed to be able to see on my GoPro.

I take an sd card from my wildlife camera plug it in to the adapter and view it on the TV. I then plug it in to my phone using the 'C' end and upload selected videos to Google photos which I can edit on the PC at leisure at a later date.Read full review...

Why not 5 stars? Because I am not that easily amazed but it is better than expected because, compared to those I have had in the past, it connects more reliably (USB A) and has 3 plugs, USB A, C and micro C. I tried plugging the C in my smartphone charging socket and the phone recognised it. I don't have any device to test the micro C so don't know for sure that it works but it probably does.Read full review...
