Realistic relationships portrayed brilliantly!

I bought this DVD because Anthony Lapaglia was in it and he always gives a great performance and this was definitely one of his best. It dealt with human emotions on a very personal level in all the characters and the performances were very realistic. It's interesting how in the beginning you dislike some of the characters because of their behavior or attitude but in the end you feel sorry for them and in some cases are actually hoping things work out for them. I can see why this won so many AFI awards. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys watching realistic relationships played out on the screen.Read full review...

This is a great flick

I saw this movie recently on HBO and I was mesmerized by it. Great drama with a nice view of everyday life in suburban Australia (Sydney I think.)
