Lawrence of Arabia - a collector's item.

It's a classic film, well crafted with a reasonably accurate historical background.
The original reel film has been extremely well transferred to the DVD and the quality of the movie is as good as one would see in a theatre.
It's important to get the correct format for your country, in my case Australia, and it arrived as ordered.
There was one thing about this copy that bears mentioning: When the DVD is first run there is no screen image - just the original theatre music for this film (they ran it to get everyone into their seats!) so just let it run and after a few minutes the opening images of the movie will appear.Read full review...

Brilliant movie a must to see and have

I bought the dvd for my 60th birthday as the theme was arabian nights we set the tv up and had it playing on low everyone thought it was a great touch to the night. I watched it a fewcdays later as I had not seen it for many years and loved it. I'll be watching it again. They don't make movies like that these days.
I also bought Arabian nights dvd another great classic. If ever the dvds get damaged I'll certainly buy them again.
I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't seen Lawrence of Arabia should get it!!Read full review...
