Sarah McLachlan-Laws of Illusion

My favorite song is Heartbreak, but you cannot go wrong with any of these songs!!!! They are great for a road trip, cleaning the house, bubble bath time, or if you just need a good cry. It is not often that I give a cd a 5 star rating, but this one definitely deserves it!!! I really think that there are several songs on the cd that most people will like, ie something for everyone! Sarah has a beautiful, melodic voice. This is her first studio album of new songs in seven years, and I hope that she does not wait that long again for her next cd. She will be touring with Lilith Fair this summer in both the US and Canada. I did receive the cd at no charge, but that is not influencing my review.Read full review...

Nothing New

I've been a fan of Sarah for years, and I was so excited that she finally released a new album, which One to One Network mailed me several weeks ago.
Overall, I found it a little disappointing. Laws of Illusion is the kind of album you can have playing in the background on repeat and never notice when the song changes. I still love her unique sound and will listen to this album again - there's just nothing that reaches out and really holds on to make it jump to a favorite list anytime soon.Read full review...

Well worth buying

Sarah McLachlan is possibly one of the best female vocalists alive, on a level with Karen Matheson. Her haunting and utterly beautiful song "Bring On The Wonder" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.Read full review...

Excellent item

She's an excellent singer, so I'm very happy with this awsome CD. I have been fan of her since 2002 and I have no regrets about that, her music is fantastic.
