A Unusual Adventure

A friend recommended the movie. My wife loved it, but I thought it was rather dark. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for three orphaned kids. The special effects were good, but we have come to expect them with the computer enhancement today. I did like the part of the baby and how we got to hear just what all her gabble meant. I loved the cinematography of this film. Great actors and great acting by Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and the child actors. A little dark maybe for some children but my little girl who is 6 and afraid of many movies really enjoyed watching this and didn't have nightmares or anything. lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events

jim carrey really comes through with this movie,as do all the characters do.it's has you feeling so sorry for these children ,and the misfortunes they go through.it has you hating and despising this uncle of thiers,and what he does to them.theres comedy,laughter,all sort of things are experienced in this movie.a nice family movie! no monsters,no bloody scenes.but it is a very enjoyable movie to watch.Read full review...

Lemony Snicket's Stays True to the Movie

This game brought my daughter and I many hours of fun. The different rooms, houses and villages and characters were totally true to the movie and each level brought new beauty and suspense. The graphics are gorgeous, the skill level was just enough to not be overwhelming and it stayed fun and progressive. We've gone through a ton of PC games and this one by far was the most fun and just the right amount of drama for young kids (my daughter is 7).Read full review...
