Buy this album you will love it!
This album is fantastic, its sexy, classy with a hint a naughty* i love it! There is no escaping the pure genius of this album lenny has created a song for everyone, "American woman" and "Are you gonna go my way" have everything you need to get you up and moving or you can chill to the delights of "I belong to you" and if you really want to sink into your sofa play a little "Heaven help". The last forty seconds of "Belive" really send shivers down my spine, its a must in a candle lit room with the speakers on full. Genius! *Read full review...
Peaked too soon ?
Back in 1993 I bought the album and single of 'Are you gonna go my way' and for my money he never bettered that album. I can't really fault this greatest hits particulalry, it has all the hits here, 'Fly away', 'It ain't over til its over', etc but somehow it has no flow, no cohesion, no.. no.... no soul! Odd for someone of Mr Kravitz's reputation but the set doesn't hang together for me. It spans 7 years recorded output and does include 'American Woman' which to my knowledge is its' first appearance on album but if I was tempted to play Mr Kravitz I would go for 'Are you gonna go my way' everytime. I feel I should like the Greatest Hits more than I actually do, it just doesn't do it for me. Sorry Mr K.Read full review...
