One of the Best Gaming Laptops Out There!

One of the best gaming laptops out there for the price! I have been using this laptop for the last month and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I needed a new laptop for college and also for gaming. This laptop has a 16:10 display which is absolutely gorgeous when it comes to gaming and watching any kind of media. I also use PCVR with the oculus quest 2 and it runs basically everything flawlessly with the RTX 3070. Just everything about this laptop is perfect besides the stock 16gb DDR4 ram but it's easy to swap out. Also the battery life doesn't last that long but that is very common for these kinds of laptops. I prefer this over my desktop now and definitely recommend getting this laptop if you have the money. Also came in perfect condition (brand new) with very fast shipping!

Fantastic and Powerful Mid Range Gaming/Production/Work Laptop

This is a great laptop overall, coming from the perspective of someone that has been repairing laptops professionally for over 15 years. Great build quality and internal design preventing common failures such as broken hinge mounting points. Absolutely amazing screen, though the HDR can be a bit buggy, but even without HDR, fantastic display/visual quality. Extremely powerful and fast for a laptop as well, which is why battery life isn't as good as many standard laptops, though I suspect most people would be using it plugged in most of the time regardless, as you would with just about all power hungry gaming or production laptops.Read full review...

My Honest Opinion

Amazing build quality, very impressive screen with extremely slim bezels and solid performance! Heavy package, charging cable is kinda thick so hard to roll, but you can fold it.

When gaming, the charging cable wire which is near the laptop is close to the fan so that gets hot because of the dissipated heat, I try to keep it straight out of the port so it doesn't bend towards the fan. (See the attached picture for reference)

Absolute powerhouse

I've been looking at this laptop for a while after I seen the price at 1389 and eventually pulled the trigger. It has a bright screen and it also supports hdr so it makes games look very vibrant. Also having having a 165hz screen makes every daily task smooth and responsive. Gaming performance is absolutely fantastic playing games like Elden Ring is a breeze. While in boost mode the laptop does get hot and the fans kick in but it houses a 140 watt 3070 so no helping that. I absolutely recommend this laptop especially at this price.Read full review...

A straight up beast for such a low price.

The screen is just simply beautiful. I've been able to play so many games with max settings and playing them at with the laptop screen is just the most satisfying thing ever. The keyboard also feels very nice and there is a MUX switch so every game performs smoothly at the highest settings.

One little bad thing about this laptop is the touchpad placement. Your palm would keep touching it when you're typing which is kinda annoying but I just turned the touchpad off since I'm using an external mouse.

Laptop is great

Great laptop with an awesome screen. It can play any games I throw at it with ease, however the battery life on this beast is pretty medicore. Best Bang for the buck Laptop

One of the best gaming laptops in the market. The highest performing 3070 on a mobile configuration(140W TDP) combined with its DLSS capabilities will crush any game in the market. The display is amazing; 165 Hz, 1600p, HDR. I dont think I can ever go back to 1080p non HDR display after this. Havent come across any heating issues. Battery will drain fast when gaming but if you are plugged into the power there is no issue. When using for work, in order to maximize battery backup, change refresh rate to 60 Hz , switch to quiet mode and also turn on Hybrid switch. You should atleast get 6-8 hours of backup with these settings. The laptop along with the charger are cumbersome but thats the tradeoff for the amazing hardware and cooling and the acceptable battery backup. Very good gaming laptop

I selected this laptop after reading many reviews, and I don't regret my choice. I haven't yet run a gpu-intensive game but I did run 3dMark benchmarks and they're consistent with the reviews out there, so that tells me it should perform very well.

I've been leaving it plugged most of the time so I don't have experience with the battery life.

Fans did get loud during the benchmark but still tolerable. The fans can turn off completely when idle (there's a bios setting for the minimum fan speed bus it's labeled somewhat confusingly: "advanced thermal optimization / disabled" means the fan can turn off). On moderate loads, the fans are audible.

I'm very happy with the display.

One last thing is that the warranty period starts as soon as the laptop leaves the factory. Be sure to register your product on the Lenovo site to reset the warranty to the full 1-year.Read full review...
