It is the safe choice

The remote works great and programmed on my first try. With that said, I also purchase several compatible remotes (3 different ones) which seem to have similar range and programmed easily, however, they were much cheaper. The true test will be to see how long they all function, as they are kept in my vehicle in the extreme heat of central Florida. Go buy an original

doesn't work like an original, when i went to program the second door on a different frequency, it lost the first door programming. the original lift master 893 max worked fine for the same thing. buy oem, be happy. what's the point of saving money of it doesn't work.Read full review...

Easy to Program

I replaced both batteries when I got them, so there wouldn’t be a problem. Then I had to figure out how to slide out the visor clip - use a flat head screw driver under the curved side and gently lift while pulling it out. Once I figured out I needed to program them at my remote box rather than the motor, I took about 30 seconds for each remote. One wouldn’t take the code on the large button, so I chose the last one. Then promptly put a dot of nail polish under the correct button on each remote. They are working great!

Works perfectly but range sucks

These things (made by chamberlain) also work on Craftsman openers of the proper vintage. I got this to replace my old remote and operate with a Chamberlain aftermarket remote receiver Model 955D.
<br>NOTE: My old 955D is NOT THE SAME as the new one and this remote will NOT work with the old (pre 1993) models!!!

Works lovely... within 1' of garage door!

Easy to program. Getting clip off to reprogram may be tricky but I have not needed to try yet.

Will try some of the tricks to extend range next.

Happy and I knew the potential issue so I will deal with it.
