Very pleased! Can't find its like in the US and not spend a fortune

We just built out our basement, and divided one large room into two smaller bedrooms with pocket doors. We wanted to be able to lock from one side, and have it be keyed, not just bolted.

After extensively searching through Google, it became immediately apparent that there are no inexpensive solutions in the USA. Having found this set, it met all of my requirements:

1. Be usable with standard door sizes
2. Lock with a key from one side
3. Not require fancy door cutting techniques, like mortises.
4. Not cost more than $100 for the hardware.

This was installable using standard doorknob mounting drill sets and screwdrivers. I love it! The fact that it was so reasonably priced, even with international shipping was amazing!Read full review...

Pocket Door lock

It's hard to find a good keyed pocket door lock that is reasonably priced. I looked at all the others and this one looked decent for the money so i took a chance and ordered one---All the way from Australia!! Yikes. It a all turned out excellent. Arrive when they said it would--came thru customs fine-( no extra charges) and it's a quality lock. I wish they sold them locally , but it's not that often you need something like this. The only option if you want a secure lock for a sliding door

I searched locally and on the internet for a proper sliding door lock and I was only able to find those "privacy" door locks that can't be used in anything other than interior doors since they can be unlocked from the outside with a coin or a needle. Then I found this which not only looks great but it also has a proper key on the outside and its quality is top notch.
