Replacement of an Old Workhorse

I've been using this style Logitech Wave keyboard for at least 10 years now across three different employers. When I started my most recent job 5 years ago I bought a new K350 Keyboard and M510 mouse combo. Both are still working but the letters are worn off some of the home keys and a couple are getting a bit soft. Not bad for 5 years.

I bought this one as a direct replacement. It didn't come with the mouse or the unifiying receiver but I already had those. THe keyboard was brand new with all the protective platic still on it. The keys are firm and have that satisfying snap that was missing from my old unit. I am very happy with this keyboard and all its extra functions

Beautiful layout and feature rich but...

Okay, this is my second factory refurbished Logitech K350 keyboard. So far, it is better than the one I had to mail back. The problem I have been having with these comfortable and well designed (ergonomically) keyboards is that they have connectivity drops. Out of the blue, you're typing right along and, then suddenly, you're typing is not getting to the document or other input you are keying into. Sometimes it is just a single keystroke or two kind of momentary lapse or, strangely, key specific (like the ASDEUIO keys.) You hit the keys and nothing registers. You go back and hit the keys again and, still nothing. then, the battery light comes on for a moment and, all is good again. While some of this has happened with this keyboard too, it has been much less frequently than with the previous keyboard I bought here on eBay for about the same price - though a different seller.

I believe the problem with these signal drops has to do with the super power saving, (three years of use on a pair of AAA batteries), technology used. I'm sure these keyboards would likely behave as well as my K330 and K270 keyboards have, if only they burned the batteries as "quickly" (18 mos and 2 years, I believe it is for those units.) I like my Logitech devices: My mice, game pad, joystick and video cameras are great too, not just wireless keyboards but, these factory refurbished K350's are kind'a hit and miss. I'd recommend them at the under $28.00 price range I paid for the ones I bought - as long as they are being offered with a return warranty, due to the hit and miss nature caused by signal drops. If the problem has to do with just some of the K350 units, I'd like to know - I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a new (not refurbished) K350, if there isn't the frequency of wireless signal drops that I've been dealing with with these less expensive refurbished units.

Works out of the box, is comfortable to use, arrived early, good value.

I like the layout, the wrist resting pad, the ability to call up the calculator with a button push and the settings in Windows. I like the fact that my mouse and keyboard only take up on USB port. I like the indented keytops and keyboard video and volume controls. Still getting used to it, but it is a keeper. I do wish it had the ability to store more than just a keystroke (a string would be nice), but I do like the ability to repurpose the function keys to be macros for launching applications. It came with batteries. Still finding out what it can do in Win 11. Read full review...

Logitech - another great product.

Great keyboard; very comfortable and good tactile feedback. Not a click, but nice amount of key travel. I am a fan of Logitech products, they always produce quality items IMO.

Keyboard

This is a very nice piece of equipment. It has good key response and is quite comfortable. I do, however have two reservations. I am keeping it despitge them. (See second below.)

First I like the heel raised position that is not available on this. I had a wired Microsoft ergo keyboard and it was possible to raise the back end. I took two gel pads and put one under to raise the heel part then another on top to rest my wrists on as I type.

Second drawback. Again I am used to the Microsoft ergo board and the keys are spaced a little differently. Occasionally I get two for one as the t and g often show up together as in tghe. I also have a tendency to hit the space afgter (see there it is again) after striking the b so get things like b eginning. I did not deliberately space that. It does not always do it, but it does require a lot of backspacing.

I will probably adapt. But I do have fat fingers, so there is a limit to how much "adaptation" can occur. My lap top, for comparison, has even closer keys and I get a lot of double strikes. I seldom use it. That is another reason for the wireless model. I can take it with me when traveling. Ah ha! Better communication.

Overall this is a good keyboard. A few keys are different from the microsoft placement. I do like the big delete key. (I use it a lot.)

Avoid at all costs

Worst keyboard I have ever used. Noisy keys and no caps light are one thing, but this keyboard has numerous flaws. Some functions don't work or only work occasionally. While typing, letters stop showing up and then start again with intervening letters skipped. Same with numbers. If I have the time, I will return this piece of junk. Otherwise, this is just trash. I won't be buying from Best Buy anymore. Read full review...

Brand Name

I bought this keyboard because it was identical to the keyboard that I was replacing. Because of that it didn't require and additional USB ports.
I hope this one does better than the original. They are nice keyboards and I never had any problems with Logitech in the past. Read full review...

Well-designed, well-made

I bought this keyboard to replace one (same exact model) that I'd had for years, which suddenly quit literally from one keystroke to the next. I expect this well-designed keyboard to last as long as its predecessor! (Also, the design has improved - my previous one had very noisy keys, very "clacky" - this one is much quieter - to the relief of coworkers around me. :-) )Read full review...

Easy to use keyboard with many features.

Great keyboard designed to reduce wrist strain.
No wires!!! The Logitech K350 has a long-range signal as much as 25 feet or 8 meters. You need a dongle - I had one but the old keyboard stopped responding after 10 years). Two AA batteries last a couple of years or so.
Software available from Logitech isz improved periodically. Good "feel" to the keys.
There are many built in key combinations (which I don't use).

The. Perfect. Keyboard.

This is the third of these keyboards I've owned, after abuse (drink spillage and clumsy storage) destroyed the previous two.

The layout is wonderful. The grouping of Function-keys F1-F12 allows you to know which you are pressing without looking. The wrist rest is natural feeling, and the arrow keys set off enough so you don't mistake them, nor their neighbors. Even the key lettering stands up well to repeated use, not rubbing off like some do eventually.

There is a slight tilt to the key tops, so you realize when your finger overreaches and touches the H key instead of the G (for instance).

If they came out with a version that had a trackpad, I suppose it might be a teensy bit better, but otherwise this is my perfect keypad.
