Fits a lot into a small package, but still feels like a full size keyboard

I had one of these at the office, and now working from home I wanted a new keyboard to let me quickly switch between computers connected to a single monitor, and this works great. I also like that it has a built in cradle for phones and tablets, though it isn't really designed to accommodate cases, so there's minimal benefit in having it. The keyboard is solid, quiet, and based on the one I have in the office the battery lasts a long time. I would guess a year or so, but honestly since it isn't constantly begging me for new batteries I have forgotten when I last put them in. I use number pads too, so I love that it's included in an overall size that is smaller than most full size keyboards, but it doesn't feel small when using it.Read full review...

Not Good for Mac Computers

I own a late 2015 iMac 27inch, i5 and was using the older K750 keyboard until the non-replaceable battery has begun to run down. They don't make it anymore and that's probably because of the battery issue. Anyway, I found out about the K780 and I knew I'd lose some of the ease of use (loss of dedicated Mac buttons) because the universal route(Mac, PC and Android) this keyboard was taking but that was the only choice at this price point with Logitech. First of all, it does not really set up that easy and now they encourage you use the bluetooth route vs the little dongle route if you're using a Mac. When it's working right it works pretty good but you now have to remember the new keys that you need to use if you're use to the older K750 or a Mac keyboard. Ok, I'll accept that. However, like other users have been experiencing, I've had a big issue with waking the computer that I didn't have, at all, with the K750 keyboard. It just won't wake my iMac after coming back to it a day or more later. I have to fiddle with the keyboard, turn it off and on, keep typing on it till it wakes, bring out the old K750, bring out the original little iMac keyboard and till I get it going. I've already downloaded the SecureDFU patch that customer care referred me to and it's still buggy to wake up. I can never rely on that it's going to wake so therefore I keep the old K750 nearby and switch it on just to log in. Hopefully the K750 battery lasts me a while till I figure out a good solution. I'd like to return it but since I bought it from someone here on Ebay I don't feel it's right. It's just the crappy way it was designed. I also was reading that some people were having issues with it on PCs but I can't attest to that. If it continues to be an issue, since I work from home and I need my computer sometimes in a hurry, I may just break down and pay the $150 for the Apple 10-key one. Don't want to take a chance on Logitech anymore until they build one specifically dedicated to Macs at this price point. I'll still give it 2 Stars because when it works it works good.Read full review...

Wireless/Bluetooth keyboard

I am really glad that I found this keyboard. It does not take up to much space. It does not have a lot of unnecessary keys like most keyboards. Set up was easy. I only wish that it came with a mouse. Bit oh well. I am happy with this purchase.Read full review...

Best keyboard I’ve ever owned

I’m on MAC and this is better than the MAC keyboard. The keys feel the same way weighted piano keys fell on high end pianos. They are completely silent. I use this keyboard along with my Logitech MX Master 2S mouse on my laptop, iPad and iPhone. I press 1 button on each one (keyboard & mouse) and they switch over automatically. It’s a dream come true. There is zero lag time. Zero. They are super fast and responsive. In a word, WOW!Read full review...

high quality, versatile keyboard

So far, it appears to be a high quality keyboard. A few keys are in different locations than my prior keyboard, but no big deal. There are some additional features and adjustments can be made to keys. It was fairly easy to set up iphone for connection. The board is sufficiently heavy and with sticky feet that it stays in place. The only downsides is that the angle is not adjustable, but it does have a slight slant. Even if you don't use it for connection to phones, etc. still is a good keyboard.Read full review...

Great Keyboard

I love the ability to quickly switch between Bluetooth device with the three buttons and that it saves battery power by sleeping when not in use. I have had a few issues though. Sometimes it will get stuck on a key press and result in about 20 of that letter and sometimes it doesn't register the control key the first time it's pressed.Read full review...

Sturdy, customizable keyboard.

The small size and weight are great for a second keyboard on a desk. The software makes all the F-row buttons customizable. However, the "home" button is only under the 7 on the num pad and I would have like a specific buttons for home and end without having to Numlock.Read full review...

Another Good Logitech product!

So far so good, I have only had the keyboard two weeks. The one feature I do like is the ability to
connect three different devices. Keyboard is easy to use when typing.

Good with issues

I like this keyboard, with several exceptions.
I use Function keys, these are present however, They default to media playing options and the computer selection: to access F1-F12 the fn key only appears on the left side. The Keys are also inline left to right with No spacing to identify the typical groupings. F1-4, F5-8, F9-12. even a side switch with toggles the default to the FN keys, and fn to access the media functions would be preferable.

The there are 2 sets of directional buttons, the dedicated set is squashed below the right-shift key, they are tedious to use, the set with the number pad is much better, and toggles with the Num-lock to access the typical set of key that exist between the number pad and the main key set.

I think it would be easier to transition to the keyboard if the squashed set of directional arrows were removed, and replaced with the typical set of keys, which includes the right-click menu and possibly add another fn key.
Also in the Keypad the Arrow configure for updown rightleft is 8246, which would be more consistent with 8 5 46 instead.

Bottom line, I believe this is a good keyboard; however I don't see it ever approaching the speed at which I can work with the standard layout. So, while I will continue to use it, I'll be keeping my previous dell wireless keyboard for when the work demands.

Best typing on my phone ;)

Bought this for my Mom to type on her phone + tablet. Connected quickly and the keys are responsive. I hooked the 3rd connection I set up for her PC just in case her regular keyboard dies.
Having the slot across the entire width of the keyboard gives you lots of possibilities for tablet + phone uses.Read full review...
