Good performance and value, with a cool mode button
I bought this to use with my Mac as a USB controller. I don't know if you need any drivers to use it with a PC. As long as your app has in-appp settings for it, it is fine. It is designed as a playstation rather than an xbox controller as the 2 thumbsticks are across from each other rather than on the diagonal. The thumbstick surrounds also have square corners which makes it easy to find the corner positions. While this controller is comfortable, the problem with it's design is that once you put your thumbs on the thumbsticks, your trigger fingers tend to naturally fall on the shoulder buttons rather than the trigger buttons. The trigger buttons are also flat buttons rather than the usual curved triggers. All of the buttons have a nice solid feel to them. One of it's best features is the mode button which lets you swap the assigned functions of the left thumbstick with the D-pad. To my surprise this feature works on the Mac too, which I didn't expect. If you want the mode switch just make sure you buy the correct version of this Logitech Dual Action gamepad that comes with it. Highly recommended.Read full review...
