Perfect solution for dark or low light conditions.

I'm actually on my second one of these; the first one was so perfect that I ordered one for my husband as well. It has exactly the right amount/brightness of light for any ambient lighting condition.
The best thing about the lighting of this board is that ONLY the character on the key is lit; no light pouring out around the edges of the key to make the characters harder to see or to interfere otherwise with vision in really dark conditions.
The overall look is very clean and sleek; nothing flashing or otherwise being being annoying. The keystrokes are quiet and very responsive without being so soft that you can't tell if you actually struck the key or not.
Extremely good value; I've had boards much more expensive that didn't deliver nearly as good an experience as this one and that's important to me as I spend 10 hours a day at my board.Read full review

It is a well designed low profile keyboard that is made even better with real nice backlit keys. I'm on my second one, though. I have some of the hardest fingernails that one could find. I tried to save money and purchased one of the cheapo keyboards on ebay. It was practically unusable. I gave it away. This Logitech is really a well built keyboard.
