A simple unit to retrofit or for new installations, can be used for lights and / or fan in WCs, and the adjustment is on the exterior to set timer and brightness so that it can be used either to operate only if dark, or at all times. It's quite a large item so if you want something more discreet it would need to be a flush mounted wall or ceiling type, but this is much easier to fit. This is a very good kit. I was always suspicious about these motion sensors and was never satisfied as some times these are too sensitive and some times not sensitive enough. This one has proved to be the best so far. As you enter the area you hear a gentle click sound that indicates that it is money well spent as now the blower fan is going to start automatically.
also there is a green LED light just in case if some one has switched off the mains. That reduces the misunderstanding that switch is over sensitive or under sensitive.
good value for money. We here at Stamford Hill Computers have used it for a couple of in house devices to turn on automatically and turn off when no one is around.

A good budget-priced PIR light switch sensor
The sensor is a good product for the price. However when it is first energised it needs a short "warming up" period. I wanted to install it on the switched side of the light circuit but the warming up period meant that it wouldn't switch on immediately when you switch on the light.
